Dra. Eliezza Senseng

When I gave birth 7 years ago, my mom had a pedia friend who recommended her services for free!  We were very excited about the money we will be saving on consultation fees.  She didn't charge us for monthly check-ups and we paid for the just the vaccine for immunization shots.  When my son got sick though, nothing serious just the usual coughs and colds, I was so shocked when Dra.X prescribed Ceclor. 

Mu son was very active in her clinic and it was just the 2^nd day of the illness but still she insisted we give him the antibiotics.  She didn’t want to answer any of my questions, “basta, kailangan na ng Ceclor” she said.   

My husband and I decided to look for another pediatrician who would respect out decisions as parents and answer our questions.  I will never forget what Hubby said, “Libre nga hindi ka naman manininwala sa kanya.”  Dra.X has a reputation for prescribing antibiotics frequently.  

We didn’t have an HMO so I researched online and asked for referrals from friends.  We then chose Dra. Eliezza Senseng of the Health Dynamics group.  

• The clinics are 10 minutes away from our house but even if they move further, I will still go to her because she is soooo accommodating and patient.  
• She gave me her mobile number and she answers promptly whenever we have concerns.  Super convenient for a busy working mom like me.   
• She holds clinic from Monday-Saturday at 3 different locations.  
• You have to call in advance and set an appointment though.  This is very important for me because I don’t want to wait a long time and I don’t want my children to be exposed to unnecessary viruses.
• She also respects parent's decisions.  Like us for example, she knows I won't give my son antibiotics.  She won't force the issue and would wait and observe first.  Now, I'm proud to say that my son is 7 years old and hasn't had a drop of antibiotics in his body.  
• Since she is part of a group practice, I don’t panic if she decides to go on vacation, I know her other partners are very competent as well.
